From a daily commute through Seattle rush-hour traffic to equatorial jungles, we experienced a radical change in lifestyle when we answered a call to serve God in Christian radio. Our travels over a nine-year period brought challenging and joyful experiences in cross-cultural living in the 21st century. Our experiences ranged from compassionate to humorous as we experienced extraordinary adventures. During our travels Patti kept you updated with some stories from our daily life. We were repeatedly encouraged to write a book about all our experiences. Well, Patti did! She’s been busy all summer on this project.
The book contains 91 short stories organized into 9 chapters, one for each country where we served, and contains several stories from each country. If you enjoyed our e-mail updates you will enjoy “the rest of the story”.
Travel along with us as we move from country to country across five continents. Patti captured the sights, sounds, and emotions of new discoveries as we experienced them, allowing her to recount them in rich detail in Frogs in the Loo and Other Short-Term Missions Tales.
The book is published by WestBow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson. The book is self-published meaning we paid the up-front costs for the books publication. If you would like a copy of the book and would like to help us defray the cost of self-publishing, you can use the form to the left to order your copy.
If you would like an autographed copy, send us your check for $25.95 which includes shipping. (Pennsylvania residents please remit $27.50). Books will be shipped in early October.
